This tropical papaya smoothie recipe is just fantastic! It is a delicious summer smoothie and packed with Vitamins A and C, also all the good stuff we need. The flavour is credit to the papaya for giving this smoothie such a superb tropical flavour and vibrant orange colour (which we obviously love). It is also an excellent source of an enzyme, papain, which aids in digestion. The best part is it’s really simple to make and doesn’t need any protein or superfood powders. All the ingredients give you a thick, sweet, slightly tangy drink that’s great for breakfast, thirst-quenching after a workout, or a healthy dessert option. This recipe serves 1.
WHAT YOU CAN GET FROM US:
WHAT YOU MAY ALREADY HAVE:
- 1/2 cup of water
- Prepare all the ingredients, by roughly chopping the granadillas, kiwi and papaya, and dicing the carrots (as this will help it blend well).
- Combine all the ingredients and a cup of water in a blender and blend until it’s a smooth mixture. Add a splash of water if necessary to achieve desired consistency.
- Pour the mixture into a large glass and enjoy!
If you like your smoothies nice and cold, just add some ice and blend for a few seconds. This will also thin it a little bit, but this will definitely keep it cool (especially on those hot summer days).
That is how to make this super tasty tropical papaya smoothie from the comfort of your home.
