It is also vegetarian friendly. This chocolate bark is really delicious, moreish and will have you hooked. The best part is that it’s not only the perfect treat, but is also a great gift for family and friends. This recipe serves 4.

  1. Begin by preparing the bark by breaking the chocolate into pieces and then placing them in a medium-sized microwave-safe bowl. Then melt the chocolate by warming it up on medium power for 30 seconds at a time until it reaches a smooth consistency, gently mixing through between each set to make sure it doesn’t seize.
  2. Next, crush the orbs by taking them out of the box, and while in the packet, use a pot to get them into small pieces (with a few bigger ones as well). After this is ready, pour the melted chocolate onto a large sheet of non-stick baking paper and spread it out thinly using a silicone spatula.
  3. Finally, sprinkle over the crushed orbs and gently press them down lightly into the chocolate, before it sets. Leave it to so set on the baking paper for a few minutes, but place it in the fridge if it is a hot day. Once it is hard, just break of nice and big shards.
  4. Serve and enjoy, or tie with twine and gift.

This recipe is easy to store and keeps well. Just place the dark chocolate bark into a container with a lid (preferably airtight). Put it into the fridge for up to a month.
